DirtyLAWndry reader - “Sheila” - sent me a creepy email about her boss.

“GIIIIRL!!! My boss has lost his ever-loving mind!!!! He came back from vacation in the Virgin Islands yesterday, and we noticed that he “decorated” his office. He had African masks and dolls arranged around his office. Whenever he goes on vacation he usually brings back a souvenir or two and puts them on display, but there are at least twenty of these things in all different sizes. So, of course, yesterday, quite a few people stopped in to see the new display. When he was asked about the masks and dolls, he told us that some of them were used in voodoo rituals. We just thought he was joking around because some of the associates were making rude comments about his African-themed office and him being white.

But, today he brought in incense and books related to voodoo. He asked me to make sure he wasn’t disturbed, except for a few phone calls he was expecting. On one of the calls, he needed me to be in his office with him to take notes. But, he wasn’t even paying attention to the call. He was busy burning incense and then he would walk around with the incense holder. Every once in a while, he would look for something in one of the voodoo books or write something in the margins. He even started crawling on the carpet and writing things under his desk. It’s a little disturbing to be here right now and I am so looking forward to 6:00.
