Jarriette Richie worked as a legal secretary for Saul Ewing in Washington. She was charged last week in the District’s federal court with fraud for using a law firm’s corporate credit card to pay for a trip to Puerto Rico for her side business - Show N Tell Entertainment. Prosecutors said, Richie charged $46,848 on the card for fraudulent purchases for the trip. She also deposited counterfeit checks totalling $70,000 in her credit union account to make purchases.

Um. If you’re spending that kind of money as a business person, you are definitely expecting a high return on your investment. My dirty radar is telling me that something other than shaking “what yo’ mama gave ya” was going down on this trip to Puerto Rico. Maybe she could have been pretty successful as a P.erson I.nto M.arketing P.rostitutes. I’m just saying.

How To Make Money Blogging

So, here’s a video of Assemblyman Mike Duvall, a married man, talking about having sex with two female lobbyists.

The censored parts of the video are said to contain Mike Duvall describing the “little eye-patch underwear” worn by one of the women. Then, he refers to the 18 year age gap between them. “Now, you’re getting old, man, I am going to have to trade you in,” he said he told her.

He goes on to talk about a second affair with another woman:

“Cher, Shar, Shar — oh, she is hot. I talked to her yesterday. She goes, ‘So are we finished?’ ” Duvall says, adding that he replied no. He continues: “And I go, ‘You know about the other one, but the other one doesn’t know about you.’ “

On Wednesday, Assemblyman Mike Duvall resigned from his office and posted the following statements on the Mike Duvall State Assembly website:

“I am deeply saddened that my inappropriate comments have become a major distraction for my colleagues in the Assembly, who are working hard on the very serious problems facing our state. I have come to the conclusion that it would not be fair to my family, my constituents or to my friends on both sides of the aisle to remain in office. Therefore, I have decided to resign my office, effective immediately, so that the Assembly can get back to work.”

He also wanted to make sure that everyone knew - probably more importantly his wife - that he didn’t have any affairs:

“I want to make it clear that my decision to resign is in no way an admission that I had an affair or affairs. My offense was engaging in inappropriate story-telling and I regret my language and choice of words. The resulting media coverage was proving to be an unneeded distraction to my colleagues and I resigned in the hope that my decision would allow them to return to the business of the state.”

Hmmm…so he’s admitting to being a liar and fantasizing about younger women. I’d love to hear your comments on this!
